Meet Steve & Cindy Gordon

We are Steve and Cindy Gordon, the husband-and-wife team behind SCG Insurance Services. As Southern California natives and longtime San Diego County residents, we are passionate about helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate their health insurance options with confidence.

Steve founded SCG Insurance Services in 2011 with one goal: to provide honest guidance, personalized service, and the kind of support people deserve when making important healthcare decisions. Fifteen years later, that same commitment continues to guide everything we do.

After spending more than 40 years working for others, Cindy is excited to be working alongside Steve, helping clients navigate important healthcare decisions while growing their family business together. Together with our son, Kai, who helps when he’s home from college, we’re proud to be a truly family-owned and operated business.

As an independent insurance agency, we work with many trusted carriers rather than representing just one company. This allows us to focus on what matters most: finding the coverage that’s right for you, not promoting one company’s products. We take the time to listen, explain your options, answer your questions, and help you make confident decisions without pressure. Best of all, there is no direct cost for our services.

When we’re not helping clients, you’ll often find us spending time with family and friends, walking our dogs, or planning our next trip.
